Good gosh, I can't keep track of anything, nowadays. I went to Sakura-con in Seattle. It was super awesome, all my cosplays worked out without too much hassle (though Koko and Misha had to deal with me prancing about and putting on makeup constantly). And then went to A-Kon in Dallas with my brother- convinced him to cosplay as Lloyd one day, and I think he actually enjoyed it. But so many highlights. I cosplayed as Neferpitou and got the BEST reactions out of people (laughing, dramatic yells, swearing). And then, when getting ready to go to lunch, ran into a Kite cosplayer in the parking lot. Spent part of the next day as Sheena, but then couldn't help changing back into Pitou, ran into Kite again and we all ran around/frolicked everywhere. Also, while in the artist alley, wound up running into someone that I had vaguely known way back when Digimon FDD was first in progress. Had to call my mom and ask her to text me pictures of old old sketches just so I could make sure I was thinking of the correct character. Plus I got to commission her for art of TEAM, which was also awesome~

Which reminds me of a minor note, I am sort of casually browsing about to get commissions done of my Digimon TEAM characters. Digital art is fine, but I really /love/ getting the original art when it's done traditionally. I'm pretty sure that all my future trips to cons will be spent mostly looking to get art of them done. Which also means that I ought to start looking into working on their second season, especially since I haven't written anything for them since last summer.

And that brings up the point of how busy things are here. Work is ridiculous because always a lot to do, but always too many customers to work on any projects. I'm one of the few that doesn't complain about my schedule, so I keep ending up with the shifts that no one else really wants. And if I could get through an entire month of work without seeing the police or detectives there to investigate something, that would be wonderful. Other places have it a lot worse, but my goodness...

One of these days, I'm going to sit down and just draw, because I just plain haven't had the time for it. Just not certain when that will be. I am also considering the possibility of going to Salt Lake Comic Con in September, but no official decision on that yet.

Do have at least two traditional arts of two members coming (well, will mail out tomorrow), and did make a copy of brothers commission that's there, too. Was really so exited about GAMCON, even if it was so very small. Was first year, and thinking it will have profited enough to come back stronger next year. =u=

Do agree on traditional commissions at cons~ While I do love getting digital stuff ordered, is just a nice feel to have things on hand to hold- well, you know~
